Also, Josh Giddey put on a show in his World Cup debut, coming close to a triple-double with remarkable figures of 14 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. His contributions were instrumental in securing Australia’s win.

On the Finnish side, Lauri Markkanen of the Utah Jazz made significant contributions with 19 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Despite Markkanen’s efforts, Finland fell short against the dominant Australian team.
